Joe Onisick
Joe is the founder of Define the Cloud and a Technical Solutions Architect at a large Systems Integrator. Joe's background in IT and electronics goes back 12 years over a broad range of disciplines starting in Server/Network administration (Novell networks that is.) Sandwiched in the middle he spent a 5 years in the U.S. Marines from 2000-2005 in a broad range of roles focused on repairing electronics and managing electro-optical repair facilities (Semper Fi.) Joe's current expertise is in Data Center technologies, Consolidated I/O, virtualization, storage, and servers. Joe focuses on solution architectures that utilize virtualization technologies from end-to-end in the data center in order to take a holistic approach to solving customer pain points. Cloud computing is a natural transition from end-to-end virtualization, as it just moves the application one step further from the hardware and provides better automation, monitoring, and provisioning tools.
